Maybe the cat is out of the bag and everyone knows this trick, but I never read it anywhere.
So, I kind of feel like I've got a bit of useful information.
If you are a blogger -- & reading this.. & human.. you probably have a pinterest account.
I do: username is Ketrin Jones
don't steal my identity aight?
I came across these great ideas (see photos)
so ya see.. there are a TON of ideas and neat ways to recycle old bottles & jars
I am going to definitely make the candy corn colored wine & beer bottles for a center piece
I've started saving all of my pasta sauce jars to use for Christmas gifts.
I am going to spray paint the lid a Christmas color and add some cute ribbons.
Then I will fill them with a brownie recipe or something like that.
needless to say-- I've been soaking tons of bottles & jars.. even spice bottles
I think those would be so cute just left clear & filled with little tiny wild flowers.
I'm really good at getting labels off, but that gunk and glue just sticks on.
So what did I do?
SOS PAD!!!
Just rub that on the bottle under a little hot water and it is almost immediately clean.
Oh but I feel like I should tell you the lavender scent does not in any way smell like lavender.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
I'm finishing up a couple of things then headed to Lowe's to get paint for my laundry room..
photos to come :)
